About Paula Pagliughi
Paula Pagliughi Biography Paula was born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey. She became interested in art during her teen years. At that time, she began taking classes at the Barn Studio of Art in Millville, NJ under the direction of local renowned artist Pat Witt. She marred and lived away for several years, but, continued to attend art classes and workshops wherever and whenever she had the chance. Eventually, she moved back to South Jersey and became busy raising a family and working. During that busy period of her life it became challenging to find the time to paint. I love this about your painting, Paula. Your big shapes are interlocked, textured, with great value changes for interest, plus the figure - which really pulls you into the painting. Just lately we were on a trip and viewing old buildings, state park features, etc. You, as the viewer, are in awe and worried at the same time about what is around the corner. L/f
